Service at the
Congressional Cemetery

With its first burial in 1807, Historic Congressional Cemetery is among the oldest institutions in Washington, DC, and is the final resting place of over 70,000 individuals. These include "Mayor for Life" Marion Barry, John Philip Sousa, J. Edgar Hoover, and many other Americans of historical importance. We will be assisting the non-profit that cares for the cemetery in creating a community garden as part of their involvement with the local neighborhoods of Southeast D.C.!

Join us for an action-packed day of fun and friendly competition at the Virginia Highlands Park Sports Festival! This community event offers an exciting lineup of activities including volleyball, bubble ball, and soccer, welcoming participants of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're spiking a ball over the net, bouncing around in an inflatable bubble suit, or showing off your footwork on the soccer field, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The park’s wide-open fields and well-maintained courts provide the perfect setting for a day of active recreation, laughter, and teamwork.
